2007 is 3 days away

My mom says the wierdest stuff that sometimes I wished she would not share with me. Like the other day she was telling at night, the park beside my house is a place for couples to "make-love". hearing that coming from my mom i cringed already. and she continued that you can find "french-caps" lying around.

Of my 26 years of living, I have never heard what a french-cap is. So i did not want to prolong this conversation, I slipped into my room and gave it a thought. Aha! french cap = condom.

That is so old-school.

What this petition is campaining is to increase the penalty to animal abusers. The petition is addresed to the Prime Minister. Recently, there was a case where immigrant workers beat a dog till its jaw was hanging off its head. Also for those that wants to have a pet at home (cat, dog, rabbit.etc), you can adopt one from SPCA for nearly free.

End of the year it is

Reading blogs like there is no tomorrow, I noticed nearly every one gushed how good the movie Cinta is. They said it all.

I wish I was on a roll on what to write, but it is the end of the year and all I am is glued to this notebook, day in, day out. I have a new extension growing from my fingers which is my notebook No one should be working this time around. For the past 3 years of my working life, I have always managed to go away for a (deserving!) vacation. But this time of the year, nothing is happening.

So what construes as something happening? For me at least, it means going to a beach. Well actually I might have a chance to drop by the beach for a while in Kuching this weekend. Hello Damai beach sand flies!!

More on the year end, time to reflect on this year’s finances, achievements, and to plan ahead. I definitely will have to succumb to corporate slavery for a while.
